For a while I’ve been posting various game related videos on youtube for all to see. Some of you may know me already from the stuff I’ve posted there. For everyone else, I’ve put up this page to link to a couple of things that you might find interesting.
For the most part, my youtube account consists of narrated playthroughs of games, or “Let’s Plays” as they’re more commonly known. However, I do occasionally post other videos too, and I’m hoping to cover a variety of games with short videos, usually narrated, in the future.

Let’s Plays
Started on the 29th of August 2008, Starfox Adventures was my very first Let’s Play and was inspired by other video creators such as Cypheron48, xthemusic, xitstyler and regalgrubgrub. I was still finding my feet here so things were a little shaky, although it certainly wasn’t on par with a camcorder LP. I chose Starfox Adventures originally because it hadn’t been done before and I loved Rare games, and because I had started a video walkthrough of the game a year prior and stopped after my file became corrupted. Halfway through I realised I didn’t actually like the game as much as I had once thought, but I persisted anyway to finish the thing, even after many technical difficulties, on the 11th July 2009.
This was actually my third Let’s Play, as I had started a blind run of Super Metroid but stopped due to lack of interest and the fact that a bajillion people had already made videos for that game. Donkey Kong Country was a game many had LP’d before, but I knew a lot about it and felt I had enough knowledge to share with the online community. I ended up finishing the game in a mere thirteen parts, and this remains as one of my more prided Let’s Plays to date.
After a long drought of videos and much nagging from subscribers (and exsubscribers) to get back onto the Let’s Playing scene, I picked up Pokemon Crystal on the 6th of June 2009. After watching other Pokemon Let’s Plays such as the LP of Silver by CanisSkye and hearing the news of the remakes of Pokemon Gold and Silver, I decided to start a Pokemon Let’s Play – with a twist: to collect all 251 pokemon in the game, using help here and there to collect those usually unobtainable. A pretty stupid idea, the only reason this LP hasn’t been dropped in some form or another is because of my love of the franchise. This series is yet to be completed.
Banjo-Kazooie is my favourite game of all time, and I had enough knowledge and the right tools to do a Let’s Play of the game without fear of messing things up and placing a stain over the beloved franchise. At least, in my opinion, I did. I didn’t really mind the lack of views compared to other popular Let’s Players, I just wanted to put my own spin on the series out there for others to follow, to pick up on some new tricks here and there and learn a few things. I finished this in fourteen parts with some abuse of long videos due to having an old Director’s account on youtube, but in the process I learned that sometimes it’s better to keep videos shorter, for both the sake of viewers’ attention spans and my own commentary.
5. Luigi’s Mansion
Luigi’s Mansion is my fifth Let’s Play, set to start late November after I finish up with school. I wanted to do a short game again that I liked but offer my own spin on a few things. Unfortunately, while there weren’t so many Let’s Plays of this game up on youtube before, there seem to be more and more popping up nowadays which will make it harder for this one to get noticed. Bummer.
Quick Plays
Quick Plays are basically just Let’s Plays stopped after a single video. They try to capture the essence of a game in a single short(ish) episode, either as a nostalgia rush or as an advertisement for something I think viewers might want to take a look at for themselves.
