Below is a list of (some of) my game reviews that I’ve compiled. Most of these are off-site and thus I’m basically just going to link to them with a basic summary of the review and my rating of the game. If you enjoy or agree with a review, please sign up with a giantbomb account (provided that the review is hosted there) and recommend it to others if you can. Thanks.
List starts with most recent, so keep checking back to find if any new reviews have been posted.
“It’s a fine game for those looking for a bit of additional DS platformer fun, but if you’re looking for the full Yoshi’s Island experience again it’d be a better idea to just pull out the Super Nintendo.”
007 Quantum of Solace [DS] – 1/5
“While it’s become hard to expect too much from a James Bond game for quite some time, Quantum of Solace DS somehow manages to lower that bar even further. Stay away”
“If you’re okay with getting your arse kicked over and over again by all sorts of sneaky traps in some of the cruelest ways possible, then definitely give it a try.”

Super Smash Bros. Brawl [Wii] – 4/5
“If you’re looking for a game to play with friends on the weekend, Brawl is your main candidate. However, if you’re looking for a deep fighting game, Brawl might not be the game for you.”
Grabbed by the Ghoulies [Xbox] – 3/5
“While I can’t say it’s a game for everyone, if you do like bashing up skeletons and don’t mind a bit of repetition you should discover a very delightful romp that’s worthy of becoming ‘that annual Halloween game’.”
Pokemon Battle Revolution [Wii] – 2/5
“Pokemon Battle Revolution is great in terms of battling, don’t get me wrong, but if you’re looking for a full fleshed out Pokemon game, Pokemon Stadium was a whole lot more revolutionary than this.”
Professor Layton and the Curious Village [DS] – 5/5
“Now I can only eagerly look forward to the sequel to this fantastic game. Professor Layton is a game I can recommend to all DS enthusiasts with ease.”
“Really, all I need to say is that I. Love. Braid. I love the art, I love the music. I love the gameplay and the puzzles, the intriguing story. It’s just an altogether lovable game, and I strongly recommend all 360 owners to give it a shot.”
“The Maw comes as a very worthy addition to the Xbox Live Arcade. It might be a little short, even for an 800 point title, but it remains a very charming game which fans of classic 3D platformers should definitely take a look at, if not for themselves, as something for the kids.”
“I feel that the minor embellishments really add up in the end, and despite some small issues with a few aspects of the multiplayer and campaign Gears 2 has turned out to be a very worthy sequel which is sure to give many an action fan their fix for a long time.”
Kameo: Elements of Power [360] – 3/5
“With some really nice visuals, sound and easy-to-learn controls, it might be something to entertain the young ‘uns with. But with an adventure mode spanning a mere ten hours with no real challenging gameplay packed into it, don’t jump into the same situation as myself expecting too much.”
Earlier Reviews:
I started reviewing games seriously at some point in late 2007. At the time I had taken an interest in many magazine publications and really liked the way reviews had been put together on the page to attract the interest of the reader. Most of my reviews would be posted to GameFAQs, and this is where I gained some interest from other sites asking if I wanted to post articles for them even though I was underaged. I declined, partially because I couldn’t afford to buy new titles all the time, partially because these were small sites trying to become the next Gamespot or IGN and I could clearly see that was never going to happen.
I also published some reviews elsewhere around the web; on more personal pages created by friends and fansites. I liked to experiment but it was clear by my writing and the way I tried to score games that I still hadn’t quite found my feet. Below are a few links to some of my earlier reviews.
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz – 29th October 2007
Call of Duty 3 – 14th November 2007
Animal Crossing: Wild World – 26th November 2007
Far Cry: Vengeance – 26th November 2007
