Nathan, or “Kowbrainz” as he is more commonly known on the internets, is an Australian gamer who likes talking in third person.
Scratch that rubbish. Basically I’m a dude who likes to game, and enjoys writing in his spare time. I’m thinking about getting a degree in Professional Writing and Internet Communications when I leave school, and perhaps a job writing in the games industry if I’m lucky.
Writing has always been a passion of mine and I’ve written reviews for games since late 2007. I’ve come a fair way since then, even learned that the review scale’s average isn’t set at 7 out of 10 despite what many sites and fanboys may lead you to think.
At the moment I post my reviews over at Giantbomb.com, but I may post some here along with any other thoughts I have on gaming and the industry. You can click the Reviews tab up above to go to a page archiving all my reviews along with short summaries from the article about what I thought of the game in a nutshell if you’re in a lazy mood and can’t be bothered reading much.
While writing is my forte, I do partake in other creative multimedia projects from time to time. I took Visual Art at school up until my eleventh year (or Junior for all you Yanks out there) and while I’d consider myself at least somewhat adept at art, it’s not my main passion. I also enjoy editing videos and have taken up creating narrated video walkthroughs or playthroughs on Youtube for others to watch, commonly known as Let’s Plays.
